Yep yep, skizzy, it is. ^__^ It's what happens when bad plotting combines with wannabe shoujo . Not a pretty sight.

Nahh, you not a bother skizzy! ^_^ Shoujo is the same either way... it means 'girl.' ^^;; Mory would probably be considered a shoujo comic, because it's all fluffy...
------------------

"Shoujo" is japanese for "girl."
It's also a genre of anime/manga which
focuses on what girls are supposed to be interested in.
This means Shoujou manga usually contains lots of stuff on emotions, love, cute animal mascots, bishounen (Beautiful boy(s) - boys who are effemeninate and beautiful rather than masculine and handsome) and romance.
The mascule counterpart is the shounen (boy) genre, which generally contains stuff boys are supposed to be interested in like fighting, competitiveness, sport, girls in tight clothing and big robots beating up other robots.
The spelling of such words is a matter of interpretation of the japanese language. The "ou" part of romanised japanese words implies a longer "oo" sound than a simple o. (Like the difference between shoot and shot.)
Eslington

Y'know, that makes a lot of sense...though I must admit I was pronouncing it man-ga until you said that, Eto. ^^; *laughs* "N" alone is a seperate syllable, right? I remember the days when I pronounced anime, an-im.

I'll have to say I pronounce it differently.. ^^; I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I just use the Japanese pronounciation, "mah-n-gah." The a's are long in Japanese, like in "awesome." It all depends on what you like, I suppose.
------------------

Nah, the n flows right in there... ^^ In Japanese, a syllable can only end with a vowel or the letter 'n,' except in longer syllables like tsu or something. Not that I have even the authority to say, thouh... oO;; I'll be quiet now.
Anyways, Mory's been up for 50 strips now... Does anyone think a layout change is in order? If so, any ideas/preferences/troubles with the current one?
------------------

Actually, I think the format looks good (although I would take anyone's offer on coloring the strip, everyone loves color!), I guess you could vary it a little, although don't ask me how.
Actually, I think another Poll is in order! I love polls I guess favorite character would be a good poll, or minor characters that people would like to see more. Or a list of Ideas about who Randy could be!
Ris

*laughs* Actually, I had just that plan... After I get a design for the group shot done, I'm going to have a "Who's your favorite character" poll to determine what order I should use for making character shirts, (I might make a Mory one first no matter what since, heck, it's Mory. oO; ). But before I actually get into T-shirts, I also have another request for you guys;
Mory needs a slogan. Any ideas?
Hey Ris, you were supposed to be in Sociology with me! Where'd ya go? ;_;
------------------

I thought Mory had a slogon. Isn't it "bligher"?
As for sociology, I was wondering where you went! I got Hamm from 11:30-12:45. Don't tell me, you got her from 10:30-11:20, right? Damn, I hate miscommunication.
Well, just as long as you keep in contact and don't become one of those friends I make in a class and then after class is over they become yet another nameless face in the crowd.
But I guess there's always Mory and Email
Ris
WANT DO NEW LAYOUT *_* PLEEEEEEEEEASSSSSE
*layout whore*
Also, ah.. o_o; I have -no- idea when I'm going to be getting decent internet access during times when you'll be on, Jess. We have to arrange an emergeny mory meeting or something.
------------------
