curiouser and curiouser.
is there no end to the Z-man's famed creativity? *falls over in a swoon*
maybe this has been addressed before, but since I've had visitors from Europe and haven't been to the forums in goodness-knows-how-long, has anyone bothered to ask the Z-master how he was originally inspired for this storyline? (*aside to the Z-man*) or would the answer to that reveal too much about the forthcoming plotline? eh?
*sits down to marvel over the curious complexity of it all*

In response to Tar Baby's questioning the similarities to the neverending story , I think this story kinda parallels Miyazaki's "Castle in the Sky." I mean they both have a girl that falls from the sky with some creepy guy chasing them and now Iris and Colby are in a balloon that's about to go into the ominous cloud. That's similar to the two kids from castle in the sky hitching a ride with sky pirates and heading into the thundering cloud mass.
I'm sure it's all just coincidence, as the events are similar but the stories differ greatly. Keep up the good work Jim!

well, yeah...i guess so. and yes the NES's book was way different and much more complex than the movie. but i guess i'm a traitorous goon - i like 'em both. la.
but now this cliffhanger has my curiosity *really* piqued....i'm still really really curious as to how Blake, our "accidental tourist", figures into all this. i'm waiting to see if he emerges as a pseudoEsurio or as that King he's always dreamed about. my guess is the latter. any takers?
