It's Tooth & Claw Utterly Unprofitable Competition Time again. To win a feeling of unassailable superiority, if nothing else:
Name the real-life comedian on whom Dermot of Monday's strip is based.
It may take a few strips to work out, depending on how sharp my characterisation is.
------------------

Why, they do look similar. But I've no idea how, having never seen or heard of the man before in my life. (I initially thought you meant Steve Wright, Radio 2 DJ.)
So no, it's not him. It should be a bit clearer tomorrow. (And it helps if you live in the UK. I probably shouldn't have said anything, actually.)
------------------

Whoever it is, he must crack a mean yolk. Probably started at school where his friends egged him on.
Sorry, but these things need to be said.

Never a truer word. It took me an absurdly long time to write the script for Wednesday, but no amount of revision can disguise the fact that the theme is breaking eggs on people.
(BTW: I'm aware that the Keenspace Alert box is horrid. I'm moving it somewhere else as I type.)
------------------

Dylan Moran! It's Dylan Moran!!
Honestly, shame on all you people for not having heard of an obscure Irish comedian famous for one unpopular (if BAFTA-winnning) late-night UK sitcom and some incoherent stand-up.
Although I now find it's shown on Comedy Central too. I highly recommend it - I think it's probably the funniest sitcom I've ever watched - although it's horribly uneven some of the time.
------------------

Okay, maybe specifying 'feeling of unassailable superiority' as a prize was a bad idea.
Anyway: be still.
------------------

I should, however, point out that Dylan Moran is not as bigoted as Dermot. There the characterisation diverges.
So.
------------------

To express my feelings a normal will not do, there fore I must use this:

I swear that I will stop now, honest!

(note: I seldom win things like this)
------------------

That's something I'd like to see. On any game show, or Publisher's Clearinghouse or in any situation in which a large sum of money has just been won, you always see the winner jumping up and down and screaming in high pitched histrionics.
Just once I'd like to see blase' indifference.

The Weakest Link's an exception, surely. Anne Robinson looks like she'd give you five hundred lines and a detention if you so much as smiled at your good fortune.
------------------
