I was visiting KatEllis and Shirlee at Yiffburg (since I'm writting a fanfic for him!) when they were invited to attend the Festival and since I was there they invited me too (what a snooper !), but when we arrived on Furriston we got separated by the crowd...and now there I am...lost among a lot of furries and humans and looking for Kat and Shirlee!
What you think Gene!? Sounds good to you!?

Well, guest appeances like these don't really
need *that* detailed an explanation unless
you're creating a time-line for your character
and have to account for every appearance.
Naturally *I* have to do that, because I'm
writing the comic! But for your own character,
being at the Festival could have happened
before or after any other occurence in their
time-line (if you wish). And I'm still
trying to put together some new Bits & Pieces
pages (why aren't there more hours in a day?)
so that's where the Raccoon Family should
appear.

Certain foods digests faster like sugar. You should wait over six hours and try eatting again. You'll notice that it takes longer than an hour. The stomach does sometimes clear itself out when the body tells it to expect a good meal. Sometimes when I eat a meal that causes me to be stuff, minutes later I feel hungry again. It just means that my stomach remove some finished digested food that it had been digesting over two hours. It just seems that it is quick, but it isn't.
Metabolism occurs in the cells. Having a high metabolism means that a person needs more calories for functions than normal. Too high means it is health problem.
------------------

You have an good metabolism, Shad. You're metabolism is high, because you are still growing. Your cells are metabolizing the food you eat to building up on your growing body and producing energy for your youthful activities. When you stop growing, then you need to stay fit to keep your metabolism high. Or else you get fat. Just remember that metabolism is influenced by temperature, diet, and muscular activity. That's why a good diet and exercise keeps a person thin. And why reptiles bathe in the sun.

------------------

I wonder if Telbert the skunkamotive will show up! Perhaps he could have a classic steam engine to show off or run the little kiddie train for the kits and cubs!

------------------
