Oh hey, yeah you should try that too! Sprinkle salt on cantelope or grapefruit or any sort of fruit and you'll find it actually tends to make it sweeter! Of course I wouldn't put it on all of your cantelope right away, just a small bit to see if you like it.
Not many people know this, but salt can enhance the sweetness of things. Why else do you think salt is in the recipe for Ice cream, cookies, cakes, or any other sweets you make from scratch?
How do I know this? My mom knows a LOT about cooking, so naturally I picked up a few things too...
