It figures.

If -I- had to grow up with a name like that, I'd be a utterly pernicious bastard myself!

::chuckles:: Man, you've had a got-up-on-the-
wrong-side-of-the-bed attitude for awhile
now, Gabriel! There are folks with names
like John Smith that can be the nastiest
beings around. Oh, and though it may negate
my previous statement (it probably does), if
Mr. Plebe were to have read your post, he'd
have beaten me to the first response with an
acrimonious "It's Fomhault Plebe!
Fomhault! NOT 'Formhault'!!"
::stalks off in a huff::

*chuckles* for all you know, where he comes from, it might be the equivalent of 'John Smith' =)

Since birth, so I'm told. But hey, gotta be me!

Yes, and -I- would respond with "Oh, yeah, HUGE improvement!"

The guy's a tight ass and on the wrong side, but names seem a little below the belt.
Nice and austere.

Not really; think of the last name....

Plebe

playing a bit with it...

ple-be-ian Pronunciation Key (pl-bn)
adj.
Of or relating to the common people of ancient Rome: a plebeian magistrate.
Of, belonging to, or characteristic of commoners.
Unrefined or coarse in nature or manner; common or vulgar: plebeian tastes.

My point being: How do you expect this guy NOT being like that, knowing that his name has such relationship

Well, look at this way, "Plebe"; at least your name isn't "Placebo"

*runs away from probably nukes*

Could be... although I sincerely hope that,
wherever that place might be, they aren't
all as distasteful as Mr. Plebe...

To which, he would (if still within earshot)
stop dead in his tracks, whirl on one heel
and glare at you so hard you might even be
able to see his pupils through those "Coke-
bottle-bottom" glasses before stalking off in
even higher dudgeon.

Technically speaking, attributing such things
to people's names in RL is in fact a wrong
thing to do. In comic strips, though, it's
hard to escape the fact that characters do
indeed seem to end up with catchy names. I
mean, he works for a man named Avariss...

*chuckle* The only thing that would 'nuke'
would be Mr. Plebe himself - which makes
running away perhaps a good thing. Wouldn't
want to get Plebe all over you. <=)

Fomhault Plebe is definitely an unusual name. In fact, Fomhault sounds like a variant on the name Fomalhaut, the brightest star in the constellation Piscis Australis (The Southern Fish). However, Fomalhaut is the corrupted form of the Arabic Fom al Hut, literally "the Fish's Mouth". That's not something I would see very many females kissing (unless they were fish). Also, Fomalhaut is not a terribly bright star, being only around second magnitude, but seems brighter because there aren't any other stars nearby that are comperable in brightness.

Still, if Fomhault wants to go around claiming he was named after a star, I'm sure his head will then swell enough for Mokonapuff to easily nail him with The Anim

[Rolls eyes and snorts arrogantly]

HE... try to out-glare ME?

You've never SEEN me glare, Al (as you're one of the few people in the world who's never given me cause to glare).

I've got the glare that scared Groat!

Don't believe me? Ask him yourself!

No, I've not personally seen you glare,
Gabriel, but I have heard mention of your
prowess - and you would easily send Plebe
(not expecting to have encountered a master
of the craft) packing. With, as much as he
would hate any such simile being used on him,
his tail between his legs.
