Yeah, I don't post as much as I once did. I don't even know what my avatar looks like anymore. I'm more on chat.
Anyway, I've been tooling with my own D&D4e/d20 modern hybrid. I've got some experience playing, and I want to see what it's like from the other side of the screen in a D&D game, to see if my hybrid's going in the right direction or if it's breaking the game into a 3-million-piece set.
So, I wrote my own 4e adventure, Games of the Mad God, and I want to play it over MapTool.
I'm using MapTool version 1.3.b70. I'll put details in the chat when we get to it.
I'm not available Wednesday nights, Friday nights, or Saturday nights (Central time). I'm available most any other time. I'm planning on covering about one encounter per night, so about a couple of hours will do it.
I'd like a party of 4-6 players, though I could run with 3-8. I have the adventure's encounters written so I can shift the difficulty to the party size.
I'd like to have the character sheets on Myth-Weavers. Everything from WotC is legal, except Dragonmarks from Eberron, though I will be using the default setting, so gods from the other books won't really exist. Background prerequisites are waved.
All characters start at first level with 100 gp, like in the book.
If you're interested, reply with available times.

I'd definitely be interested since I've not had luck yet finding a local game (though hopefully that'll change when I put some flyers up). I'm not going to say when I'm available because quite frankly I'm way away from everyone else's time zone. Figure out when the group will play, and I'll either throw in or not. I don't want to be the person who holds it all up.
I have D&D 4E, what would I need to cover down on the d20 modern side? Am I gonna need to hunt down some books or are the rules available somewhere online?

Heed these words: I do not draw. Photos if you're lucky.

Sorry, it's just D&D4e. I want to see how D&D plays on the other side before I throw in all the d20Modern changes and break the game.

If its pure D&D 4e, then definitely count me in (if it fits the time zone difference). With that in mind, I'd prefer to play Saturday afternoons (say 1-5?) because your afternoons are my next day middle of the nights. And I will totally stay up to 3AM on Saturdays to play D&D.

I haven't played 4e, but I haven't exactly heard great things about it. I could give it a go though. pretty much monday through thursday after 8pm (11pm EST). Friday is my local game night. Weekends I can do earlier, but evenings and nights are a bit rough on weekends, and I couldn't promise every session as I do tend to escape weekends and go into the wilderness when I can.
<KittyKatBlack> You look deranged. But I mean that in the nicest way possible. ^_^;

I don't care what we run. Kobold hall can be a prelude to your campaign if you want, the way we all met or something. Then it concludes and transitions into the beginning of your campaign. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
