Your Corner of the Blogscape

Post by SergeXIII »

So. I don't see any threads about our blogs (excluding the live journal one, but that isn't necessarily the same thing) so I figured I would go ahead and make one for us to introduce our blogs and announce when we are doing cool shit with them.

Okay, my blog is The SergeXIII Experience. Right now it is mostly the place where I talk about Red City and my old comics, but I've been posting reviews there as of late, including all of the reviews I've done on these forums.

I don't blog. Every time I try, it ends up being a several hundred thousand word post about how Ann Coulter's body is eating her mind for nutrients because she isn't eating enough pie

That sounds like the kind of blog that gets people book deals.

I abandoned my blog years ago, or maybe it abandoned me since the last time I tried to post something, it acted all weird and buggy... I have something recent going with my friends, but it won't mean anything to yous since it's not in english.

Last time I tried to make a blog was in 2002. Then one day I posted a comic on said "blog." I have since found that it is much easier for me to have a comic that actually updates where I can rant from time to time if I need to than a blog which tends to never update.

I used to write one on myspace... before i realized how unhip myspace blogging was.

I agree with legostar, I find it more productive to work whatever I might've blogged about into my comic. thats why there is so much random violence and snarky comments.

besides there are enough idiots spouting opinions on the web why should i add my idiotic opinion to it?

I actually thought about starting a blog today to chronicle some of my experiences in the academic world. But that probably won't happen. Might make good therapy for dealing with an insane job though. On the other hand it might just lead to another comic.

Cause otherwise idiots will win?

Actually I find that most of idiots are in the crowd that posts comments on blog posts...
You don't need attention span, to have your thoughts organized, nor to be able to express yourself legibly, but still your opinions get read by people who came there for the blog. Someone compared it to bathroom wall grafitti.

No, just a chronicle of my decent into madness.

My further decent into madness...

What's below madness?

Two of my friends and I want to start a comicing/writing blog. Dunno when/if that's gonna happen, though.

I had to do a blog for a class last semester, but I stopped as soon as the semester ended. And sometimes I'll remember I have a LiveJournal, but all the people I was friends with there quit their livejournals except for like one girl I barely talk to, so there's really no point. Like, I know no one really reads such things, but it's even more apparent when you only have one friend that updates on any kind of basis. It was really big in early high school, but then everyone peaced out.

I blog regularly now http://looneydm.blogspot.com/ . It's what keeps me from starting another comic at this point.
