So for those who don't know me, I'm K-Dawg artist of the critically acclaimed and often hiatus'd comic Disgruntled Q. Orangutan

I am trying for the 450th time to get back to updating. I have finally admitted to myself I can't do 2-3 a week without something close to a 5 month buffer, so I'm doing the once a week thing. All I need now is to figure out what day to update on?

Any suggestions?

Thursday night. That way people will check for your updates while looking at the weekly manga updates. It'll be part of their weekly schedule. Not too many others update that day either, I think.

I've been asking myself the same question. Sunday seems to pop out since it's the first/last day of the week. fri and sat seem like bad ideas since most people do stuff on those days. monday is well monday . tues wouldn't be to bad. weds is comic book day if people still buy comics. thursday is a second tuesday. I was going to use sunday when I start doing a weekly update.

I'm in the same boat. I went with Monday as it's the start of the work week, and I figure most people read webcomics while bored at work. Tuesday might be a better choice, since Monday is the busiest day for many people.

I just took a quick look at my traffic, and even though Mondays are busiest, it's spread pretty evenly throughout the week. I think people will get to it when they get to it, no matter what day you update.

I don't think it really matters, I mean it's not like people HAVE to check on the day it updates, the update will be there regardless of which day on which they check.

The important thing is just that you update! How could you leave us on a cliffhanger with Tongry's past?

I always updated Fridays, but I noticed I got the most traffic on Mondays.

But yeah, it probably doesn't matter.

I say monday so that you can cheer up people and make their beginning of the week happier.

Monday's when most people get the most traffic. I update Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday and find that I get a lot of people who check for my Sunday update on Monday... so... I suggest Monday, or Thursday.

I don't think it really matters. Like Tero said, updating on Tuesday won't prevent people from seeing your update on Saturday. That said, I voted Monday. That at least gives you the weekend to get a page finished, I reckon.

Update twice every other Wednesday.
