Anyone remember KeenLace?
Anyone remember KeenLace?
That yearly event we once had where we all drew our characters dressed in skimpy nighties and such every February. Seems last year went by without one. Is there any interest here in starting a new one?

Might be fun, but who was taking care of the original website?

Seems like I should remember who it was. It wasn't Yeahduff, was it? I remember he did a lot of contributions to it.
*Edit - http://keenlace.comicgenesis.com/ Looks like TeamMayhem was running it.

Yeah, I remember it being a yearly thing.
I think that was back in the days when some of us actually did comics, though.

Luckily, some of us still do comics. So if such an event happens this year, I'll draw something for the Volet and for Evil Overlords.

Yeah, I suppose really it shouldn't be that hard to convince people to draw scantily clad ladies.Ti-Phil wrote:Luckily, some of us still do comics. So if such an event happens this year, I'll draw something for the Volet and for Evil Overlords.
Re: Anyone remember KeenLace?
If no one is running it, and it's possible to get the appropriate login information, I'd be willing to volunteer to operate it. Most of the site looks to be pretty simple to manage, and I can get help from my significantly better at scripting roommate if needed.

Doesn't look like Team Mayhem left any personal email addresses or contact info behind. I'll contact an admin and see if I can get something going.

Re: Anyone remember KeenLace?
Thanks, I'll take a shot at that too. If I can't get in touch I can always create a mirror site and start updating from there. Though that's kind of an ugly and haphazard way to go about it.
Edit: Success! I'll make it official once I can log in.

Re: Anyone remember KeenLace?
Well even you can't get the old Keenlace site, no one's stopping you from coming up with an updated version, like ComicGstring or CG Illustrated or Genesis' Secret or something.
Ok, I suck at making up racy names. Over to you guys.

Re: Anyone remember KeenLace?
It is true. I can draw cute, semi-sexy things, but not pornographic materials. To each their limits.
