Yeshua - pencil art show and tell

I used to make comics for fun. But such projects can be too much of a time commitment at this point in time in my life. So, I am into smaller projects now. I guess you can consider it comic book style art, but it is not a comic. Still, I wanted to share.

I drew Christ on paper about 15x12 or so. I scanned it into my computer in 3 parts. Touched it up with B&W digital painting using an old version of Corel-Paint. The background was done separately on a much smaller scale and matched up with Christ. The sky was done in Corel- Paint. I painted it, but usually like my pencil drawings better. If you want to see the painted version, go here (but don’t bother if you are going to cry “spam” – its for people interested in the art/subject matter):

P.S. If you do see the painted version, know that the sparks are suppose to be rising up from the flames of bonfires or torches set by the Roman Soldiers. Just getting that common question out of the way.

Peace
