Secret Santa 2007

Is anyone interested in doing a secret santa fanart exchange this year? Here's how it works: a bunch of webcomicers sign up, and their names go into a hat. Each person is then assigned a random webcomic to draw art for. Starting sometime in December, the art gets posted online and merriness ensues.

Deadlines: November 25th is the deadline for joining; I'll send out the assignments on the 26th.

I'll start posting art on December 15th. When you finish your art you can PM me with a link to the image, or wait and post it yourself.

Dutch Toy Drive: Dutch, of the webcomic School Spirit, has in past years been cursed by the god of Secret Santa (whoever that is; I suspect Durga). In order to salvage what little remains of his Christmas spirit (and to celebrate School Spirit's 500th strip) please consider doing a separate piece of art for him. Remember, it's your generosity that makes it possible.

I don't see any problem. You're a regular on the forum, and not working on your comic will give you plenty of time to do a secret santa page.

That's terrible. It looks like you were the only one left hanging at the end of last year. A few of us were abandoned by our randomly picked secret santas; I was fortunate enough to receive a great picture from AmGothia. Dotty called dibs for you but I guess she forgot. I seem to remember that she had a hand injury or some other issue at the time.

If anyone signs up for this and then finds out that they can't follow through, it would be best to let everyone else know early rather than wait for the end.

Yeah, it was something like that. People were making stuff for those who missed out, but apparently mine was coming so they decided to leave mine be.

I'll probably not join this time around. Three strikes and out, sort of stuff. Told 'no' first time I tried to join, left off the list the second time I joined, only one to miss out the third time...

The rest of you can have fun though!
