Looking for examples for another possible Comixpedia article again. This time, I'd like first comics - which I could find for myself but it'd be a lot easier to have them linked and listed in a single thread so I'm going to get you guys to do the work.

I'd rather not go into detail. I'm looking for examples of good and bad beginnings but also reasons why they are. By collecting as big pile and mentally critiquing them as I go through, I might spot some reasons I havn't thought of yet.
Also, I figure it's dead easy just to drop in a "first comic" URL for your own comic. It's not like last time where you'd have to search around for what I was looking for.

"Yeah, that's the bridge pier (expletive). I thought it was the center. Oh (expletive)." ~ From the transcript of the recording device on board the ship which struck the San Franciso Bay Bridge last year, causing a 50,000 gallon oil spill.
Here's a whole bunch of beginnings. Looking through them, it seems that I often use the same pattern when starting a new story. I never knew that I was so predictable.

Well, it's painful to look at my own first stuff, but I find it inspiring to see amazing artists who started off at about my level of artistic mediocrity.
