umm....help Kez avoid a hiatus?

Well, as some of you probably do NOT know, every May and December, I (Kez) take a month off of the comic to focus foremost on completing those blasted course interrogations known as "finals" and also to redo old pages that really need it. Usually I ask people to retext a comic page in some hilarious manner, but this time I'd really like some people to contribute a single panel of ongoing story. As in, I give you the script, and you draw me a single scene. Colored, inked, pencil, I don't care, and it stays in the archives with a link back to you indefinitely.

Having something to put up next month is more important than usual, because I will be out of the country (going to China! whoo!) for 2 weeks of it and will not be able to do any comic work. I really don't like asking other comic creators to create an entire page or fan art or a guest comic because I know we're all damn busy, so I was hoping that this was doable for some of you. I would like to able to put up 3 panels a week, so, in a, uh, perfect world, I'd need 12 people to help me out. Granted, I'd be ecstatic with just one person, because I am easily pleased like that. Anyways, if you're interested, please reply with contact information if it's not already in your profile.

Also, the current chapter is very low on action scenes. Mostly, it's one tied up, angry half-man growling at 2 very ignorant, curious humans, though if enough people help, I/you may get to a little special effects. *wiggles fingers* The only thing I do ask is that those who wish to be extremely cool and help me check up on what the characters look like. I can, yes, even provide multiple links if necessary. Thanks for reading, all^^

Wow, thanks guys! I didn't expect more than one or two people who may be willing. I'll get a script together ASAP, and if it turns out you can't help, no worries. I don't need any of these for another 3 weeks either, so no time crunch^^

I can definitely do a single panel; count me in.

That's a good idea, by the way. There are probably a lot of people like me who really like to help each other out, but don't have the time or energy to come up with and create a whole page. This is a good alternative that is more likely to get a response.

Yeah, I am always willing to do guest strips, I just really suck at writing them, so I love it when scripts are provided.

You can see what my current style and skill level are at here. I'll have a read through your archives to get a feel for your characters.

Q: did you want just the art and you'll do the lettering? I notice you have a lot of fonts that I don't have.

Edit: I spotted something you may wish to have a look at. I notice that people can leave comments on individual strips and that when there's zero comments it displays the message "You know you want to leave a comment" and when there's more it says "X Comments".

However, when there's 1 comment, it says "1 is the lonliest number." Shouldn't that say "1 is the loneliest number"?

Pshaw! Shame on me! Good catch. Blasted English exceptions >< It shall be corrected very quickly, thanks. And your style and skill are fine, no worries. You could read the whole comic if you like, heck, I'd love ya to, but just going back through the current chapter will give you lots of examples of the characters. I don't know if I'll have access to a computer, so I would ask that everyone text their own. I don't mind shifting texts, so long as it legible.

Thanks everyone else! I appreciate it so much, and will get scripts to you probably sometime this week end. And there's no rush either! I just need them by December 1st. Thanks again!

Alrighty! Whoo! Finally got the time tonight to sit down and pound a script. Never done that before. It's hard! Uhh...script-writers now have my utmost respect. *bows to Net*

So, I've sent everyone who's replied in this thread a PM, but having never written out a script before, if anyone's confused about the information that's presented, please feel free to contact me. It's my goal to make this as easy on everyone as possible, while at the same time giving people a lot of room to maneuver inside the script, so some parts are vague.

Also, ahem, if anyone else would like to make a panel, I still could use 2 more people. uhhh...*begs?* hehe, don't mind me.

I LOVE YOU ALL! *hugs all around*

EDIT: It would be very nice if all these panels could be complete by December 1st, but no later than the 3rd. After that, I won't be back in the country until the 20th or so. If you get it done after the 3rd, I won't be able to get it up until after, and then the whole schedule gets messed up

Double Edt: For questions about panel size, I'm very loose about this. Try to keep it under 650px wide, but it can be as long as you want. I'd prefer the file size be under 200kb, but hey, I've got cable.
