Happy Card, Candy, and Flower Industry Day!

Post by Wishmaster »

Otherwise known as Valentine's Day. Wish In One Hand finally hit 75 strips last week, so we're having a belated celebration at the local strip club and you are cordially invited to join us through the miracle of NSFW vote incentives. Or alternately, just dig the lazy squint eyed cherub and learn a little about the history of Valentine's Day.

It's called St.Trifun's day here. Supposedly, St. Trifun was some romantic guy, but then someome figured out that we just proclaimed him romantic in order to comply with St. Valentine. Some even claim that he was rather abusive and molesting poor innocent village girls, but then one wondest if he was like that, how'd he became saint.

Eh, they're pushing for Judas to have sainthood on the grounds that if he hadnt betrayed jesus, noone would have heard about him.

This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.

I dunno, I think Judas is famous enough for releasing his bowels upon the earth when he died, befouling it for centuries.

Thanks. I did do a NSFW votewhorish thing, but I think the picture was pretty good, one of the better ones I've done. (Moodswing, not Mindmistress. Mindmistress wouldn't really lend herself well to total nudity. I skirted the line close enough with the mud covering thing.)

Otherwise, I get to enjoy the evening with my wife of over 25 years...and I wouldn't have it any other way.---Al

Yes, for those of you stuck on boring modern religions it's Valentine's Day. But for those who remember mankind's roots, it's Lupercalia, that wonderous day when we celebrate the love of the she-wolf Luperca for those who would grow up to found the city of Rome.

I hope that all you men follow Lupercalia traditions, so go dress up in your goat skins and lash the girls you fancy before binding them with leather and carrying them away to do unmentionable things with them.

Ah, isn't love grand? :)
