Well, your choice. But I like seeing the old strips of an artist to compare how much they've changed. Look at Peanuts strips from the 50's and compare them to later ones.

You'll see what I mean.

I like the way that Peanuts strips from the fifties look. :/

I agree its great to see artists evolve, but really, read my archive. To put it nicely, most of the early stuff is in a word, "shit."
People are more likely to look at the comic from the beginning only to show how people can improve over time, I don't want that. I want people to read my comic for the story. Because that's what it is, a story. Were it a gag a day comic it would be different. If they story was okay and just the art sucked it would be one thing, but every aspect of my early stuff is terrible. Best it forgotten, really.
That being said, the originals will be hosted somewhere else, since people have asked me to do so when I

Just so you know I'd already long ago saved your first Jamie and Nick for future use.

You know, just in case...

I was disgusted.
There WAS no plot! Two guys get sucked into a TV and fight carrots? What?! Robot Food Devil? Healing grenades? What the hell? I didn

Eh, I too am displeased some parts of my comic. It's just that it's the more recent stuff actually.

Dunno, in your place I would rather turn to the super secret project and work on it with the full concentration. "J&N" might not be perfect, but it's hardly the only comic you'll ever do, and it's most likely not the best you'll ever do, so it's bad parts make up for the things you learn in doing them and apply on other comics. It's a sort of record of your artistic growth that you should actually be proud of.

Super secret project twill get the main attention, but I'm not doing it all myself this time (I became the only writer waaay back), so I'll have time to work on revamped J&N pages, which I don

Colour it and it will look awesome. That is all.

I too know the pain of looking at first strips and thinking "This is the most gash that's ever existed in one place since that Lesbian party island opened". However, no-one will let me get rid of it.

I don't really see the point of redrawing them though, even with the comic being of a serial nature. You'll just have the ones in the middle looking gash then, won't you?

I guess I'll be a small voice of dissension and applaud you for revamping your archives. If you seriously think that the current material is holding your comic back, then why not? As long as you keep the originals somewhere on the internet, people can still see your progression, and new readers won't be scared away. (And don't fall into the trap of restarting it over and over and over again...)

(Heck, I've entertained the thought numerous times, but that still wouldn't solve my troubles with the current work. Not to mention that I can't even find the time to update the comic at all, much less polish it.)

This probably isn't that relevant, but since we're on the topic of Jamie's old art... I saved this a while back, cause I thought it was awesome:
