The Gigcast: a new webcomic podcast!

Post by Black Kitty »

I've been going around to different communities trying to spread the word out about The Gigcast, a new webcomic podcast created by this small hosting community.

They just started but it's really fun to listen to. Their last guest was Ronson who's the creator of The Gods of Arr-Kelaan and admin of DrunkDuck. Before that, it was KC Green who does a whole bunch of really cool comics.

Even if you don't know them, the hosts are cool to listen to. A bunch of people just out to have fun and along the way, interview amateur webcartoonists. :)

So check them out!

Hopefully I got the right forum. Asked the chat and all. >.>

Thanks BK!

BTW folks, she will be the guest on The Gigcast that will be posted on the 26 of Sept or there-a-bouts.

Here is some Podcast info...

If you are not sure what a Podcast is , or how to even listen to one, it's simple! A Podcast is just a radio show recorded in mp3 format that you can download and listen to on you computer or mps player. You don't need an iPod.

There are RSS feeds available which will let you know a new show are available, but you don't need to use them if you don't want to.

I of course recommend checking out The Gigcast.

http://gigcast.nightgig.com

The current show is a 2 part Chuck "Ronson" Rowles interview, next week (Sunday Sept 18th) is our Web Telethon wrap up, where we will tell you which of the participants are worth checking out!

And the week after that is the one and only Black_Kitty!

Hey, If you have a Gig that may need some notice or press, let us Know at gigcast@nightgig.com, and we'll give you a look and maybe a plug!

Also at http://gigcast.nightgig.com , there are detailed Shownotes for each Gigcast, where we list all the links and urls mentioned in the cast, so it's easy for you to check out for your self, the topics we mention!

Any way, The Gigcast is more than a podcst for Night Gig, It's the podcast for all Web Artists, Web Cartoonists, and well.. everyone!

Check it out!

Thanks for your time.
