Just wondering if any of you have drawn yourselves into your comics, or just ever drawn yourself in cartoon form. If not, draw yourself and show us!

Me...It's weird-looking, I think. I was sleepy when I did it awhile ago. I didn't look at my real pic to do it, which made it kinda hard.

Jim = me. Likewise, me = Jim. So the main character of RotD is already me in cartoon form.
Or perhaps . . . just perhaps . . . I'm him in cartoon form . . .

I sorta put myself into the strip really early on. This may fiddle with the width of the page, so apologies in advance. I'm on the couch.

I'm practically a regular in my own comics. Whenever I show up, it's like this:

<----- (I'm the one with the small ears)
But this topic also begs the questing of what we mean by putting "Ourselves" into our comics. Do you just mean a drawing that looks similar to us physically, or a character that is based on our personality and how we perceive things, or both? [/pseudo- philosophical hobnobery]

With Jim, all I did was take me on a bad day when I don't give a crap about anyone, made that his all-the-time personality, and then changed the just-funnin' insults into real insults.
So, yah, I pretty much actually put myself in my comic, minus the joy derived from happy things . . . he still retains the joy I get out of the pain and suffering of others, tho'.

Well, yeah, that's pretty much what my entire comic is about..... because I rule. Thus that awsomeness is transferred to my comic.

My first ever sucessful manga picture was of myself. I tend to use that to save me drawing anything else.
