I'm changing my comic for the better.

I've decided to bring On The Playground into a more serious, dark storyline because heck, if nine year olds can't deal with death, violence, and guns, who can? I'm issuing the newest issue of On The Playground (renamed Death on the X-ground) here so you can all praise it.

The usage of stick figures is an ironic device, using childish ink strokes as a contrast to the esoteric plot. It's intricate and thought-provoking, and because it's different from the status quo created by the media people will love it. However, the art is still stylish and sophisticated. The monochromatic design unconsciously pulls the reader into the darkness of the story, similar to the effects of an old film noir movie. The overall style is that of postmodernism.

The writing is cosmopolitan and draws from many foreign sources that have way too many syllabes to list here. For example, "Jyqqykkhxz" is a neology based on Arabian dialects. To grab the reader's interest, I have started the comic in the middle of action, engrossing the reader in curious questions, piquing their desire to continue. This is a totally new idea and nobody's ever done it before. The actions of the main character, Lizzie (renamed Lyzzy), help sculpt her complex, labyrinthine personality, even only a couple panels into the story. There is also subtle humor in the comic, to appeal to the younger demographics, in that Lyzzy mentions the "Islands of Carrion," a verbal contrast to the preceding names such as "Jyqqykkhxz" and "Xyxyyxyz." Finally, author's comments inserted above the panels form a close relationship between the author and the reader; thus involving the reader more in the story.

Because of the huge efforts that go into making every comic, I will only release one once a year (and not on leap years), but I am confident this minor setback will be overlooked and this new redesigned verion of the former On The Playground will soon become famous and loved by all.

Comments and praise will now be accepted.

How satirical! You should no doubt be greatly lauded for this unique foray into the depths of obtuse verbiage. Encore! Bravissimo! Foreign words!

And hey, in between your annual updates, be sure to visit random forums to plug your comic. To keep people from recognizing your posts as spam, ask for "critiques!"

I refuse to believe you're 13. You just used the word "cosmopolitan". Correctly.

Truly an abstract view into the divisions that guide our contemporary cartooning society, it has webcomics examiner written all over it.

Edit: Holy cow, that would be a hilarious cartoon strip, no joke. Sort of an "artsy-parody" type strip with stick figures, you could easily update every day.

I don't believe there's enough nudity or gratuitous sex for your strip to be taken seriously. Oh, and you need some furries in there too.

I think those villain names have too many voyels.

What do you mean?

Those stick figures are blatantly nude and in a compromising position.

I can't wait till next years update.

Why not make it with sprites, though?

Because that would be a pastiche. And although that's a cool word, it only has two syllables. Not nearly fancy enough for the complexity of my sequential art.

Pastiche would've been a good word to use during that whole Squidi v. PA thing.
