According to Crosby's comments in this websnark post, Keenspace is getting a new name on Monday.

Any guesses to what it might be changed to? Also, how badly is this gonna affect everyone's links and stuff?

It won't affect links at all. It'll just redirect the old addresses to the new.

For an example of this go to http://onewar.keenspace.com and you end up at http://www.digitalwar.co.uk.

no, but you are going to have to fix up any HTML where you have a .keenspace URL link, and some people will have to throw away 90 business cards

(actually I was going to do that anyway to put my all around art site on the things)

And I just started printing out my drawing sheets with the URL at the bottom.

onlnecomics.net you can log in and edit the address. I don't know about thewebcomiclist though, seeing how you don't have any control on that site. they even throw your comic into what ever catagory they think is right without asking....

I assume the *.keenspace.com url would redirect to the new one, at least for awhile...

Ugh...I feel a little ill. I mean, I knew it was coming, and I shouldn't be that attached to the name...it still feels a little weird though.

I hope it's a cool name like "ChrisCrosbyComics" or "ChrisCrosbysCoolComics" or "RadComicsHostedByTheCompanyChrisCrosbyRuns".

You can submit changes if you're a registered user of the site, but I don't know if it connects you as a user with your comic, and it seems like they don't always take the changes. I was able to update my thumbnail image, but not my URL.

Oooooh, the cards and the sampler. I totally forgot.

sure some people get confused between spot and space but stilll.... its way more hassel for the artists to change the name then it is to get some dumb people to understand the diffrence!!! (no offence to the dumb people )

You know what's interesting? A year or two from now, there'll be a thread about ages or time on the forum again, and everyone will be saying "Oh yeah? Well I was around before the namechange, back when it was KeenSpace!"
