Comedy legend in the making dead at 37

My favorite comedian since Phil Hartman, Mitch Hedberg died of a supposed heart attack last night. My laughter is gone for today.
The Fan: Action, Drama, Suspence...All at a comfortable room temperature. Yeah, it's still there. I'm as shocked as you are.

DAMMIT! Why does this always happen to the really funny people? Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, now Mitch Hedberg. Why couldn't God have taken Carrot Top instead?

I was about to just quote his "Smokey the Bear" routine, but man... a large part of that was the way he does it. I can't believe he's gone, I'll miss the guy.

I don't expect anybody here to care about that; just thought I'd throw it in.
Of course, I'm the one that isn't JP Sloan or Jim North.

I was totally crushed when I heard the news. I was lucky to see him live back in 2003, and his performance was MONUMENTAL. I already miss the guy and I was trying to find a chance to see him again.

Also I heard from another article that he probably overdosed on heroin, so we know what that means....
