The January/February looking forward/back thing...
Well, no one else has started it yet. So I'll have a go. How did your comic fare last month? What are your plans, predictions and hope for this coming month?
Last month I begun my new update schedule of twice rather than once a week. At first I thought this might have confused people a little, because the number of people linking in from the Webcomics List for the first couple of weeks seemed a little low, but I pulled in better numbers for the second half of the month, so by the end I was doing better than December.
This month a couple of things are happening: I've got my Newsbox up and running, so if you're interested in that sort of thing, keep an eye out for it. I've also stuck up a new bonus strip on buzzComix, hopefully if I get a few votes in early it'll be higher up the list and more people might spot it. My strip buffer doesn't look too full on the face of it, in that only three strips are in it, but I have the next four planned out so all I have to do is draw them (the relatively quick part, in my case!) some time.
How about the rest of you?

Janurary was awesome, I got back most of my fanbase with 85,000 pageviews - the highest its been since I stopped updating (Which was 101,000 and 102,000 in the two highest monthes respectively.)
If this continues in February, hopefully I can look forward to be sitting aroun 120,000-130,000 pageviews by the end of the month.

well January was normal. Nothing to intense.. as it shouldn't have been. just working on the current storyline.. trying to keep myself up.
In Feb I plan for more of the same, but I'm also starting work to double my comiquing work load so I can get myself ahead enough to cover my move in march.
other than that smooth sailing I think.

Well January had a few road bumps, I still can't update at full speed and that means I squeaked out less than half the strips I should have. However my readership has been rebuilding itself. I'm only about 150 or so readers from my old total in October, which was the last month I had reliable computing power. I've also managed to finally close the first chapter of my comic, after about 15 months.
For Febuary I'm going to start a short side-story arc which will hopefully be interesting. I also intend to start doing a bit of advertising for the comic, see how that works out for me.

January: I revamped my website and finished my "Burt can burp like a guitar" storyline and began my stint into being published in the school paper
February: still trying to crank jokes away though I'm hitting a writer's block. Haven't missed an update yet!

Let's see...
Last month I moved to my own location and I'm very happy so far. AlthougH I might need to move to a new host because damn it, the current server is a bit too slow.
Within the first four days of the launch, we have over 15000 page views and 3000 uniques.
This month I plan to whore out my comic to several places. Already some DnD websites like PlanetNeverwinter and Planetadnd have p1mped our comic about the new launch. Neverwinter Vault (nwvault.ign.com) interviewed Elshad and I a few days ago and should be posted soon. Right now I'm planning a few deals with some other non-gamer non-DnD websites to hopefully bring in new people.
I'm very excited to see what happens

Last month IftP was updated as usual. Got a new computer and used cleaner fonts and paneling. Also went up to more visits.
This month I started my new comic Chat Rouge which will update MWF and I plan to cut back IftP to updating only on weekends. Maybe I'll squeeze in two X Review and Mohawk updates when I get time.

I made a bunch of strips. And my traffic (while low compared to some here) still continued the trend slightly upward. All in all, I'm happy.

Second very bad month in a row for me, as my numbers keep dropping due to the spotty updating. The light at the end of the tunnel turned out to be just a will-o-wisp, and am still struggling to keep up the comic, so much that I'm beginning to consider dropping it all together.
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

My numbers have been pretty steady this month. I got some fan-mail. And I updated more. I think it's been a pretty good month.
The numbers stayed the same because I haven't shamelessly whored my comic in every community possible yet, nor have I made tons of topics about it. 'should probably wait until there's a good archive before plugging it to "Comic Pitching".

I opened the new with with another bad month with a 9% decrease in daily uniques. Additionally I had my first missed update ever which I am quite bashful about now.
For February I hope that I finally achieve the goal that I have been striving for the previous two months of preventing a decline in readership.

Well, for most of January, we we're on winter break, and we had a lot of time to do comic-related stuff... so we got a chance to catch up on our sucky lack of updates...
And for February, we actually have *GASP!* a plotline going on... so we'll see that through to the 17th...
Then the random updating comes back into play, and everything will be as it should be...
...in accordance with the prophecy.

The only update I made in January was for Kat's birthday. Somehow, despite this, my average number of hits stayed alarmingly steady. In fact, now that I updated on the first of this month, I believe I've gained a few new readers. I guess this is making up for all the time that my numbers were steadily going down even when I was updating.
This month, hopefully, things will continue picking up. I've got a number of site renovations I plan to do, and I'm hopefully going to be getting some new pens . . . the ones I've got now have served me well for the past year and a half, but they're finally starting to crap out on me completely . . .

Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.
4th highest month I've ever had in terms of pageviews, hits and the like. My updating however, I took a week off to improve my art, and that worked amazingly, but now I'm currently having personal issues, with my ladyfriend and sickness, and the like...and I don't know whats going to happen for February. Hopefully nothing except updating.
I have the next 2 comics done already, so that's a plus.

I was a lazy ass all January and didn't update (no wait, that's not true, I updated once, last week
). So much stuff going on (college starting up again, visiting distant friends, birthday stuff) in real life and I don't manage my time very well. And yet somehow I ended up with some neat artwork - very little of it for Pimpette.
Things are looking interesting for February. I've got new art supplies, so I can get some good quality strips going. Also I've gotten myself into several little things which are only going to suck up most of my time, but which I can't seem to drop - one of these being Keenreality, I couldn't leave it if I tried.
The other one.. Well, I'll post about that in time. Not yet though. Chatters from last night know what I'm talking about
I'm trying to avoid the evil hiatus monster though. As I type this there's a comic sitting in front of me being finished, so there's hope.

January started out slow for me. But I still updated once a week. I've done pretty well with updating regulary for a year now.
Pageviews began to pick up the last couple of days. I hope that continues.
I'll probably continue to update with random one-page comics and comic strips for the rest of February. I'd really like to start this new series I've been working on. But that probably won't happen for a few more months.
