"I'm afraid I don't know what's going on here."

Well then, pull up a chair while I give you this thread in a nutshell!

It all started about a week ago with <a href="http://forums.keenspace.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=21062">boB.rM</a> who is apparently a <a href="http://forums.keenspace.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=16871">Mr.Bob</a> doppelganger. Mr.Bob is rather famous in this community for <a href="http://oosterwijk.keenspace.com">Star Bored</a> and other such works like <a href="http://oosterwijk.keenspace.com/nsbgl-11.html">The Depravity of War</a> and <a href="http://oosterwijk.keenspace.com/99spacers.html">188 Lines About 99 'Spacers</a>. Mr.Bob was quickly upgraded to the status of god by the community.

Then at the beginning of this month Mr.Bob disappeared.

Enter boB.rM on the 26th, baring news that Star Bored had finally updated after a long time. There was much celebration, but also much suspicion as no one knew who boB.rM was.
Enter the REAL Mr.Bob baring a delightfully amusing comic demonstrating who the imposter was, what Mr.Bob had been up to, and the threat which VileTerror poses against the forum. A device known as the Trans-Dimensional Spamulator was introduced, a device capable of destroying the forums!

After a brief skirmish VileTerror was banished through a trans-dimensional portal and the happy 'Spacers involved in the ordeal walked away gleefully with the Spamulator in protective custody.
However a new, tiny portal sputtered into existence and dispatched a necromantic tome before closing. <a href="http://forums.keenspace.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=17537">Mr Ekshin</a> picked up the tome and decided it would be a fine read during his upcoming bathroom break.

McDuffies, seeing the Spamulator as his means to vengeance against VileTerror, attempted to use it. However, his efforts were thwarted by the portal's inability to take inorganic matter through.

A short while later Mr Ekshin successfully summoned VileTerror back into KeenSpace and VileTerror immediately went on a rampage. Finding Mr.Bob in the middle of changing his clothes, VileTerror had a dramatic little speech, then exiled Mr.Bob to the Spam Void.

Life in KeenSpace has sorta gone back to normal as no one has decided to rescue Mr.Bob yet, the Spamulator may still be in mcDuffies' possession, the necromantic tome is lying in Ekshin's bathroom, and Mr.Bob seems to have stumbled upon something.

Stay tuned, or pitch in, and see what's to come!

VileEDIT: Forgot to mention the necromantic tome.

How can so many people not have heard of Mr.Bob?! How can so many people not have come into direct contact with Mr.Bob?!

Mr.Bob! You haven't been active enough! Consider all your privileges (such as bathroom breaks, food breaks, sleeping breaks) revoked until your post rate increases to no less than 50 per day!

Oh, boB.rM and Mr. Bob are NOT the same people. In case anyone was wondering.

Mr. Bob has got it going on
Mr. Bob has got it going on
Mr. Bob has got it going on
Mr. Bob has got it going on
Mr. Bob has got it going on

'Spacers, can I please get a quorum
I wanna hang around in the forum
Did Mr. Bob get back from his hiatus
Is he there or is he off eating papayas
I'm all logged in now, baby can't you see

Mr. Bob has got it going on
His comic's what I want and I've waited for so long
'Spacer's can't you see, you're just not doing it for me
I know his mind is wrong, but no one's cool as Mr. Bob

Mr. Bob has got it going on
Mr. Bob has got it going on

'Spacers do you remember when he was gone
Then he came back with with Doc's clothes on
I could tell he was cool from the way he landed
And the way he said he wouldn't leave us stranded

And I know you think it's just a fantasy
But since he first walked out
Mr. Bob would come back for me

Mr. Bob has got it going on
His comic's what I want and I've waited for so long
'Spacer's can't you see, you're just not doing it for me
I know his mind is wrong, but no one's cool as Mr. Bob

Bob, if you turn Star Bored into a comic book, I will stand in line to buy it.

If you promise to sign it, I'll buy two.

You're one of the people on these forums who imho is too good not to make money off your work.

Feh. I'm just trying to butter you up. I figure you know why. ;)

And, c'mon! It's catchy! I've had the "Mr. Bob" version of the song stuck in my head all day at work today!

I really hope Sortelli's going to get an infinitly more celebratory reception when he gets back!

Who, that bum? He'll be lucky he doesn't get lynched! ;)

And I'm with Sir Kolter. I'd bash my way to the front of the line to buy a Star Bored print, toot sweet.

I was hoping to see Ekshin or Stinkywigfiddle also add some plot development too, as I consider Ekshin
