I remember when I took my AI course back in university we were told that one of the first applications of AI was in translators. The very first translator was to go from english to russian and back.

The test phrase: "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak"

The return phrase after translating it to russian and back again: "The vodka is good but the meat is rotten."

Sounds like they haven't made much of an improvement in the translators yet

Let's try russian...

Those met Teo and Sara, were lowered into the love, and there were failure to be lowered outside in elder klachchakh of secondary school; now, a little years more late, fate throws them together again; can love prevail?

Wow, the very last sentence translated perfectly! I find it odd, though, that babelfish uses words it can't translate back.

Finally, mine own native lingo:
