Naw. My comic updates every monday without a fail for almost a year now. Granted, in the future I'll prolly have to change my schedule, it's taking me moe than a week to draw a page.Joel Fagin wrote:It'd be great for you, Pin. I've found it most useful for the more rarely updated comics.
I mentioned on the forum there that it seems very mercenary to charge people who are spending a lot of time to provide free entertainment for a service which, in internet terms, should be a free one anyway.*
Doesn't matter if you're always on time. It's just easier not having to remember which comics update weekly, weekdays, M-W-F, TU-TH and what ever else there is. I mean, lots of people read fifty comics or so, simply because it's so easy. I've started reading more because of the list. If it vanished, I'd cull my bookmarks simply because it's not convenient any more.RPin wrote:Naw. My comic updates every monday without a fail for almost a year now. 'Bin there. Done that. I could use support though. But you gave me an idea, tho. I'm so going to their forum and endorsing what you said.
They must have just added that box back... when I checked it this morning the free submission had been temporarily removed while they got through all the free ones they already had to add.Warren wrote:I just went there.... it's only $5 if you want listed within 48 hours. It still looks free for the "we'll get it on there, but it might take a couple weeks" link.
It's the thong bikini everyone in Brasil wears that has kept you posting so regular, hasn't it?RPin wrote:Naw. My comic updates every monday without a fail for almost a year now.
Totally. Besides, such directory wouldn't be very useful since it'd list not too many comics. Of course there's that line of thinking "if they can chip in for 5$ than they probably do it more professionally." But if I got 5$ for advertising my comic, I'd probably spend it somewhere else.I mentioned on the forum there that it seems very mercenary to charge people who are spending a lot of time to provide free entertainment for a service which, in internet terms, should be a free one anyway
Shhh, you'll upset Phalanx!RPin wrote: I hate companies that offer services for free only to start charging for them after a while.

Hey, I'd never seen this other listing before...thanks for the link!RPin wrote:Yeah, same here.
I hate companies that offer services for free only to start charging for them after a while. If you ask me, it's not worth 5 bucks. I don't get all that many hits from there, and the only good thing about it is you can bookmark and track your favorite comics easily.

Lies! I've never seen girls using thongs around here. At least not one of those obscene thongs anyway. You people have no shame!William G wrote:It's the thong bikini everyone in Brasil wears that has kept you posting so regular, hasn't it?RPin wrote:Naw. You're welcome. There are very few listings I took the time to add my comic myself. Most of the time my readers do it for me (everytime you see my comic listed as furry, it's one of my readers rating it...kathleenJ wrote:Hey, I'd never seen this other listing before...thanks for the link!RPin wrote:Yeah, same here.
