Historical Romance Comic Crossover

We-ell ... had time in class today and thought about old monumental films like 'Cleopatra' with Liz Taylor and stuff like that. What about the idea to pair main characters of our comics as love couples though time?

Maybe as Caesar and Cleopatra, or Lancelot and Gwenhwyfar, as Robin Hood and Maid Marian ...think you get the clou. The people paired talk with each other about the historical setting and the characters themselves, and each one of both draws the picture ...

What d'ya think about it?

This sounds like a fun idea.

If the due date is flexible enough, count me in.

Sounds interesting...and very creative. I'd love to...as long as the deadline isn't in May.

*slinks away to do more packing.*

Okay ... I think I'm gonna take submissions up to 30th may, and the final date all pictures should have been finished is 15th june?

Would that be ok for you? I got enough work this month too ... ^^ *hates Karl Martell* *hates merowingian social structure* *hates merowingian laws*

I used to do something like this with my comics for lit classes. Characters from my comics would become characters in famous stories from literature. I didn't always follow the original stories as exactly as possible.

@ vorticus: as child I read all Prince Valiant comics and my characters always were part of this world .. *smiles* still love Valiant and all the other knights ...

and this was one of the thoughts leading me to this event-idea :)

Will try if I got time. Otherwise, I won't.

I'd be willing to try but I would need to know which time period to do so that I could do some research on it and be sure my character was dressed appropriately.
