Hi kids! We're going to be wrapping up the current ORBVS plot in, oh, around three weeks, and I was just wondering if any of you felt kind enough to give us some guest strips that we could put up around then so we don't have to take a non-updating break to do some more writing. Awesome!
Even VileTerror is invited, although I can't promise to put it up...
GUEST STRIPS Woohoo so much fun.

Thanks . . .
But I just tried to read your archives and your comic is more confusing than mine . . . and I'm trying to be confusing. Sorry.
First, to respond to Vile: It makes total sense if you read from the start of the current storyline (there's a link saying just that on the main page, in fact), and also thumb through the "characters" page. At least, it makes more sense.
For Mr. Ekshin: ORBVS doesn't stand for anything. However! The old Latin phrase for "earth" was "Orbis Terrarum", or "sphere of land". The Orb released an album called "Orbvs Terrarvm" once upon a time, capitalizing on Latin's lack of the letter "U" and also misspelling (perhaps intentionally) "orbis". I took this one step further and named a webcomic after the misspelling of the Latin word, in what sort of, in a vague way, might mean "planet" if it wasn't spelled wrong, which is (I think) perfect for a weird sci-fi webcomic.
Second question! All you need to know can be learned by reading the current storyline and the character bios, the current story is only about 15 strips long (I think).
What has happened to this point in the story: Ralph gets a page from some planet called The Sanders Colony Homeworld. He falls asleep during a 2-hour videophone conversation in which he accidentally agrees to sell his entire supply of French Onion Dip, the last surviving supply of this particular delicacy, to the planet. It turns out that the Sanders Colony Homeworld has a really powerful military that's also really mean, and Ralph freaks out and devises some sort of plan to get the dip back from them. Meanwhile, James has some sort of plan of his own to get the dip back after he finds out what Ralph did. It's not exactly clear what Ralph is up to at this point, except that we know that he is intentionally posing as the Sanders Colony Homeworld's messiah, and we haven't heard from James since they landed on the planet.
In other news, in case you missed the not-so-subtle references, the Sanders Colony Homeworld is basically what happens to KFC in the future--they become some sort of religion and go out into space, settling some planet and growing a very powerful military.
Is that good enough?
