New years comic resolutions.

Post by DarkArtist »

Ahh Nothing like a new year to make things feel all fresh and clean.

I have spent the past few hours giving my comic site a new years makeover and have all sorts of plans for the comic in the new year.

Better writing...
Spend more time on the art.
3 updates a week.

What are your new years resolutions concerning your comic?

I resolve to . . . um . . .

I resolve to spend less time on the forum and more on actually doing work (on comic, perhaps)

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!

You got that backwards. You should be spending MORE time on the forums and less on your comic.

1) update the site layout.

2) create a buffer of comics.

3) write some script (w/dialogs) ahead.

4) profit!
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

To start again sometime this year.

Miss no more than 3 updates.

Wow, I almost said those two with a straight face...

Oooo Profit. :o
I think for me that is more of a pipe dream then a resolution.

I think I'll settle for trying to get a daily average visit count of over 300.

1) Eat pizza
2) Do stuff
3) Not work on comic at the last minute

1 and 2 should be easy enough. It's number 3 I'm a little worried whether or not I can do it.

I resolve to go more than a month without a hiatus.

What? It could happen.

Okay, it might not happen.

I resolve to do something about that ugly archive of mine.
And maybe, just maybe, make five strips a week.

Bad news Sheep.

1: img HTML has been disabled in signatures. You'll have to use ezcode, sadly.
2: that image won't work anyway.

BBcode.

And who knows, the anchor tag could be next!

Uh, ya.

Post by ZOMBIE USER 17021 »

Sorry about that. But BBcode and ezcode are identical and I was exposed to ezboard first.
The anchor tag? What's that?
