Did you ever get the feeling that you'd wandered into the completely wrong forum, and then posted something that makes no sense whatsoever out of context? Well, maybe you should.

well mageofblackmagic, the name Fiver seems familiar to me, but the storyline is so long that I can't recall. He's almost certainly in Hell, considering he just ripped the nose flange off of the bartender and beat him to death with it, but other than that, I think it's just the start of a new storyline.

On top of that, i have no idea what he's talking about either Jaster

Um.. yeah... havent read it for a while. Maybe Jack has a keenspace forum linked for some reason. That would explain this confusion.

Jack is one of the best webcomics I've ever read.
I really like emotional storytelling and the Jack-storylines are brilliantly written and very VERY sad! *sniff*

Go over and read: http://jack.keenspace.com
"Where are my groupies? She! She is my groupie!!"
"She is my niece, Rick!"

I got sick of it too, but for totally different reason. For instance, I don't see a bit of emotional storytelling, at least not convincing. Well, his characters hold the same expression on their face (wet-eyes puppy) whole the time, so when he wants them to express emotion, he has to do the tricks, like add tears. That's why his characters cry all the time and it's all mushy and patetic. Also, until I've read it (end of 2001 i think) half of the storylines were about a guy running into an office and killing everybody and all.
Ah well, it has a good sides. Hard to swallow but well. I liked the part where dead girl yells at the killer about all that she planned to do in her life.
But still...

I totally agree with that... but I'm also a sucker for soft-hearted incarnations of death. Jack's okay by me.

Me mind says Jack r0><0rs, mushy and pants in parts, but hell, that never stopped anyone!

You just have to take it with a pinch of salt, luckily not as much salt as Final Draft, you don't have to worry about ideals being thrown at you, you already know they're not to be taken seriously, even if the author wanted the opposite but it's all good fun in the end! (Although Final Draft is getting a helluva' lot better and needing a lot less salt these days I may add)

Now... if only David Hopkins tidied up his Rework the Dead and made a third one...
