*snicker*
Hard? Dude I applaud someone for quitting drinking! Coke, crack, heroine, PCP, meth, K...but weed?
Good for you man, its an expensive habit that many people abuse. But no Jamie, there's no way it could be hard. Its not a narcotic so theres no physical addiction.

True, no physical addiction. But there is some mental addiction.

Meh, not really. Only if you do it constantly, like as a lifestyle thing. I know people like that. Like...okay, maybe one.
Seriously though, weed is the best recreational substance in existence. I'm so tired of watching people get blind-stinking drunk and thinking its cool. Especially when they're alwasy like 'Oh god im nevur doin' that uh'gain..."
...then they do...and the cycle repeats.

Psychological addiction can be just as bad. I was tied to a table kicking and screaming for a week after Star Trek: The Next Generation ended.

I feel that pain, too. Ah Jean Luke...but getting a mental addiction to weed takes some serious doing and, as I've noticed, you need to be fairly low on the intelectual ladder to boot.
I myself am proud to say that I have never been addicted to anything.
Well, except Ragnarok Online...

I've never tried it!
Easiest way to not become addicted! Actually it's just all the burny carbon stuff I can't stand... There's something not right about breathing the ashes of anything, but that's just my personal distaste.
It does smell nice though ^.^ My old work mates practically had one every other hour, shared between three of course...
As for addictions... Ermmm, I'm kinda' addicted to collecting WW2 Wermacht stuff. But that kinda' tamed down as College started... Hrmpf...
And games in general have always been a long term addiction... But that's my proffesion, so it's allowed ^.^

I come here to applaud JV, and then everybody talks about addiction. Notice something a bit odd about talking about addiction in this thread?
Eh, I wouldn't know. I'm straight-edge.

I've never tried any illicit drugs in my life, but I've been around them many times with friends. One of my best friends does acid.
It's true that there is no physical addiction, like there would be in nicotine or alcohol, and especially coke and heroin, but once again... weed can be psychologically addicting.
However, IMO, I think weed would be a better drug than alcohol could be. At least safer...

It IS better, in every conceivable way, which is why we're decriminalizing it up here. It only makes sense. I mean shit, smokes are legal! Those things are retarded!! Honestly, if they were illeagal until now, like weed, do you really think they'd decriminalize that? HELL NO!

Fact: Major tobacco companies are awaiting for marijuana to be legalized, and will campaign (not openly) for it to be legalized. They've already bought and copyrighted names for the weed cigs so when the day comes, they will distribute it much faster. Where do you think the name "Mawi Wowi" (sp?) came from? Marlboro.

I didn't say legalized; I said 'decriminalized'. Two very different things.
