What's in your CD player right now?

Post by Patach »

Hey, since Music is part of art, I'm wondering if any of my fellow cartoonists listen to music. If you do, what's currently in your CD Player? And how you like it?

I'm listening to Amon Tobin's Supermodified. God, I love jazz/industrial/experimental music don't you? :)

I'm at work, so's no music for me right now.
Though at home, my playlist is composed of entirely too much video game music (including oer a gig of Nobuo Uematsu, which frightens me).

A compilation of old classical songs only released in Japan. The classical songs aren't normal ones, though. They're classical remakes of old Nintendo songs in games we all love, like Secret of Mana, Super Mario Brothers, Earthbound, SimCity, Kirby Superstar, and more.

I do the lion's share of my cd listening in the car. So far today, it's been The Saints-Wild About You: Studio Recordings 1976-1978, Radio Birdman- The Essential Radio Birdman, and Genius/GZA-Liquid Swords.

I'm totally digging The Saints, warming up to Radio Birdman, and GZA is more of the same ol' Wu-Tang crap if you like that sort of thing (which I do).
Of course, I'm the one that isn't JP Sloan or Jim North.

Right now I just finished a comic. The CD player had Gorrilaz in it.

I finally did some rearranging of CDs that I don't listen to anymore in my DiscGear. It's amazing how light the thing is now.

Thanks! I thought you'd all hate my idea, but it's gotten a small bit of attention.

Oh yeah, I know about the Orchestral Game Concert albums, though I don't nearly have enough from them. My personal favorites from the one I have heard are Mario Brothers, Angel's Fear, and Hyrule Castle from Link to the Past (Best. Zelda. Ever.)

Oooh! I got the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack also, along with the CB movie soundtrack! I love all of them! But the movie soundtrack sounds more... well... cooler.

Ewww, Jungle de Ikou? That was one of the worst animes I've ever seen! Only for the most breast-obsessed fanboys IMO. Plus the water girl's 'dance' was just icky.
