Making Purty Pictures

Post by Gigas »

Well, I didn't know where to put this, so I figured here was my safest bet.

To the point: Anybody know of a paint program to help me make my strip look better? A free one, as I'm not willing to shell out three hundred bucks for Photoshop.
Psst. Hey, Guido! It's all so clear to me now. I'm the keeper of the cheese... and you're the lemon merchant. Get it? And he knows it. That's why he's gonna kill us. So we have to beat it. Yeah. Before he lets loose the marmosets on us! Don't worry, little missy! I'll save you!

Photoshop... Isn't free?

Sh!t!

Crap crap crap crap!

Ehhhh, ah well...

Really I don't think anyone could give a rats whether Photoshop's free or not... Except possibly Adobe... But they seem more worried about the big companys using it...

Ummm, Painter Classic's free one, but generally free with other things, like scanners... I just nabbed a copy off of a mate who recently got a printer. It's, errr, not a bad program... Doesn't exactly make things that pretty, but the Water Colour tools are nice...

Sorry, man.
You want quality, you gotta pay* for quality.

*-'Paying' may or may not include piracy.

You don't need anything more than your current scanning software. Just adjust the brightness and contrast and gamma levels.

Photostudio 2000 is a good program.

Unfortunately again, it came from my scanner
