I'm curious as to how many cartoonists here use a self portrait in their avatar. If you do, post here saying so! If not, do you have a self portrait or a photo of yourself?
That's not me in my avatar. It's a random manga drawing I did a few weeks ago! I'm busy working on a self portrait right now but it won't be accurate until I actually dye my hair blue, so for now I'm keeping it
It's only fair I go first, so here's a really lousy photo of me.

Pfft, I've gotta' redesign him sometime, he's supposed to be me. But alas, quite distant from the truth... For a start I have longer hair ^.^
Hummm, the only picture I've got at the mo is *cough* this;
Both of which are at least a year old o.O The one on the right is about 2 or 3 years now... Gah... I have to get a newer picture... Not that I've changed a terribly large amount but... Errr... hummm... Yesh...
Oh, and here's a one I took just now, ahhh, the joys of the 5 year old webcams... It was amazing back then, I mean, Colour! Wow... It couldn't take the light this morning. It looked like I was burning, which while probably being an improvement on my current looks I decided not to post it...

Sylvan, I don't know how many self portraits I've seen from you know. I think I lost count Just kidding. I can't blame you. If I had your artistic talent I would have at least created one self portrait by now that had resemblance to my face
As for my photo, it isn't cute, it's deceptive. You see, any face looks cute next to a chimp! 8) And yes, that is the monkey's only purpose of sitting on my shoulder, bless it's heart.
Good god, that photo is disturbing. There is sorta a mild resemblance, except for the fact that they don't look at all similar. And Liz doesn't look like a hideously deformed space-clone.

And no, my avatar doesn't resemble me ... for one, I didn't put the glasses on my Avatar... Two My hair was never that long, or that style. (It's hard to have your hair long enough when your current job requires it to be "professional" ... I've been working graveyard shift, so it's been rather unprofessional as of late.) Hehe... If I brush it backwards, it looks kinda like something from an anime.
And getting me to post a picture of myself is not going to happen anytime soon. It took several months for me to send a single picture to a friend online... and the rest of the people in the IRC channel have yet to see a picture and it's been almost 4 years.
(I trust people as far as I can throw them... which is not very far. ^^)
Oh and no prob Kisai. Not everyone is comfortable with posting photo's of themselves on the internet. It took me a while to be comfortable with ever having my webcam on.
Lag, ur pics are cool and you do look a little bit like Keanu, but I'm having a difficult time dealing with this sudden reality... You're so furless, and - and so - not blue... It's strange that image was still in my head after seeing your (school?) photo earlier this year.
Meanwhile I would like it if someone posted a picture of what Molly Ringwald during the period she looked like me Before today I wasn't even aware of her existance and I've only seen this one photo of her.
