Yeah, I'm poking my head back out here for a minute. Just a notice; if you're looking for me, PM me.
I just gotten a spam IM on AIM. It's more than likely from a hacked account, and whoever or whatever (I don't discount an AI) was behind it spammed a non-news, non-Apple link. As you know, don't click it if you like to keep your PC/Mac/Linux box.
Ban the user for a week instead. If it's someone you know, and can reach through different means, let them know they need to change their password (suggest they get a longer passphrase!).
Anyway, that's your security notice for the month.
[NOTE] Get a IM about an Apple Give-away? It's spam/phish!

I find it strangely amusing that this post is an absolute spam-magnet.
