All right, I'll play- better almost late than actually late, right? But what format do drawings have to be to be uploaded to the forum? Or does it matter?

gMiss Comicgenesis 2008 contestant: Bridget "Arrowflame" O'Shea
Special abilities: Well, I am a decent singer, and I play great guitar. But of course, what you prorably really want to know is that I can control fire. Hey, it has its uses.
My favorite flavor is cranberry, especially if there's vodka in it.
My role models are many. I mostly look up to musicians who are almost gods in the industry, very talented, and still manage to be real, and not sellouts. People who don't forget why they're doing whatever it is they set out to do are the people I respect. I particularly admire the guys from Iris. They're great musicians, great people, and still find time to hang out in Green Gardens, Arizona.
My life goal. . . you know, technically, I'm too young to even have answered the first question the way I did, so I have a few things I might like to do, but haven't decided. I never want to give up my music, and balancing that and my new powers will be a trick and a half. Maybe that's a goal in itself- be a music goddess and yet, still have time to make the world a better place somehow, in a real, tangible way.

You've got a point, but it just seems a bit... lumpy. Not muscle-ish...
Waitaminute, this isn't a critique thread. Never mind.

Thanks, linkara. She's the kind of girl who is winning the war against pudgy genetics through muscle, for now. Skinny is not on the menu for some people, but that doesn't mean they can't be attractive.
I would like to know why it is that I am the only one in this entire thread who got a crit.

Re: Thing Comicgenesis 2008
Thing contestant: Happy Little Cactus from http://industrialpowers.comicgenesis.com
Special abilities: Well, I am among the hardiest of plants and seem to be everywhere that you look.
My favorite flavor is sandy dirt.
My role model is- well, I don't know if it's a role model, exactly, but I do look up to the sun.
My life goals are to raise a happy little cactus family and to simply exist- everywhere.

Re: Miss/Mr/Thing Comicgenesis 2008
I could create the polls for this, as today is the 15th.. and Jops doesn't seem to be around.Jops wrote:I think i'll add 15 more days to allows those who planned to but are short on time to get something done. This means that deadline is postponed to August 15.
The problem is: next week i'm probably moving, and therefore i most likely won't have Internet available, so i'll need someone to take over the event and manage the polls.
I'll be back in an hour or two, and if no one objects I'll lock this thread and put up the polls.

OK, putting up the poll threads now.
Obviously I can't lock the thread on my own - totally forgot that when I typed it earlier.
But no more entries will be accepted after this post!

Re: Miss/Mr/Thing Comicgenesis 2008
I'd totally make a submission right now...
But I don't have a current comic. Nor any photogenic characters. Nor can I draw....
Why the hell do I hang around here anyway?
