G'nerds2000 is about video games! I know that hsn't been done before!
Seriously though, G'nerds2000 is a gamer comic, but It jumps around and pokes fun at other genres more often than other comics of the same genre as far as I know.
Plus my character, Serge is the only gamer in the comic, and he isn't a gaming God. Hell, my skill is never touched upon so I could totaly suck for all you know. I thinks it beats CAT's ego boosting Ethan aproach.
Oh, and I almost never put my mascot in the comic. Its a tiny running gag that I haven't seen used before.
but all in all, no G'nerds2000 isnt the most unique comic out there. Deep Dive is another story but I cant state why yet.

I know that there have been comics out there featuring superheroes with ice-based powers (or made of ice, whatever). Mine is the only comic I know of that features a talking, crime-fighting popsicle as the main character. I mean, he's literally a giant, orange-flavored popsicle, complete with riddle printed on the back of his stick-leg. Hey, feel free to let me know if anyone else finds another comic that has the same.
I can't say the style of humor used in my comic is totally unique (superhero parodies have been done before), but the absurd bent to it is uncommon enough to have made me decide the world needs more of it.
