I'm making comics again. Or, at least I'm trying. I'm even doing it digitally!
I haven't made any comics since about 2009, and I've never been much on the digital drawing tip. But I swear, for the first time in way too long, that creative spark is back in my soul, the ideas are flowing, and I'm having a blast!

Hey, thanks peeps! I think I'm working to reprise my attempt at a sexy sword and sorcery comic that I had actually gotten a lot done for, but never really got around to publishing. Also, expect some drawings from me in the various show-off threads, as I get the hang of this whole digital drawing thing. It's been surprisingly smooth for me, settling into this new process of creation. My Galaxy Note works really well as a drawing tablet, especially in Illustrator!

Don't get me started on cars. The rage and anxiety I feel in dealing with various car troubles over the last nine months inspires no poetry from me.

Re: Livejournal Thread 4: Can't kill what's already dead ins
well that was a fun week of productivity, good thing the depressio is descending upon me again and I will soon return to my habits of not doing a n y t h i n g
some good news- I signed up to go to a graduate program meeting thing this Friday afternoon. So my life isn't so off the rails as it was the past month. (seriously, things got pretty fucking sad. It took me two months to take off the toenail polish from my birthday because I just couldn't muster the energy to do anything hygiene-related that wasn't imperative, like soap-and-water or teeth brushing.
) But I kind of got on a high this past week and the sad part about that is always the descent back down, wondering how low I will wind up this time and/or how long I will stay there. Maybe I'll be okay for a while this time, who knows. Hoping for the best but not expecting anything huge.
I miss you guys
