I hadn't thought much about a buffer (yes, I've just started building my site now), but from what I've read so far it seems like a pretty good idea. I've got 7 proper pages finished so far... so I'm definitely thinking more now of having a decent buffer.
I'm only planning on updating a couple of times a week so its shouldn't be as difficult as if I were updating daily...

I've got a buffer of four now at the moment. Make that five when I get this one put together in an hour or so. That's... nearly two weeks worth. The best bit is that I now know where this set of 20 strips is heading, so with only a bit of luck it should be easy enough to get these ones done.
This is important... because I think in three or four weeks I'll be writing reports again...

Well, at the moment, I'm starting to get into the schedule of finishing the comic on Sundays and leaving it to update on Monday. So no, no buffer unfortunately
. I've toyed around with the idea of it but it's a bit late now. I've got a lot of school work to do as well. And when a comic takes me a long, long time to do...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF- FUCK.
I had a two-week buffer for several months last year, so of course it stands to reason that Lady Luck would wait until I had none to have my computer break down every few weeks.

each full color page I do usually takes at least 16 hours. I could probably crank out two pages a week but I enjoy having an hour or two here or there to go for a walk, relax, work on other stuff, write, etc. Also, I hate pushing myself when it sometimes affects the quality of the art.
so no, I have no buffer. When I first came to Comicgenesis, I had about 9 pages that I threw up one after another for 9 days... now I'm kicking myself in the head, but one of my main problems is I WANT to share everything I do as quickly as possible. If I end up having an extra page, I'm going to post it... not expect everyone to wait for it.

I have 11 pages in my buffer at this current moment... considering spacing out my updates more, this is the lowest it's ever been ^^;

My concept of having a buffer right now involves working on Wednesday for a comic to go up Sunday, which is effectively no buffer at all.
After Finals, I might be able to get a little further on my buffer (and my ideal situation is that once I get a month's worth of buffer, I start releasing twice a week rather than once, at least until the buffer drops below a month or depletes itself.
