Gremlins has/will have extreme Holocaust and Nazi doctor overtones. And probably undertones and in-the-middle-tones, too. I've done my research on that, at least. I need to do religion research too, but that can come later :>

I thought Beth was the ABOF. (Amorphous Ball of Fire)

Besides, Ryan, you ought to know better that fire isn't necessarily light!

Oh good lord. Where do I even begin? :o Mixed Myth WAS mythology! Minotaurs, sphinxes, elves...I had my way with mythology and all of its friends. Even did a little riff on Odysseus.

My next comic takes place in a world I've created, I've done extensive work on it without researching a thing, though apparently it shares some themes with different mythos and such.

Beth's actually just some flames. People draw her as Tess tho.
Besides, Ryan, you ought to know better that fire isn't necessarily light!
Fire is the result of an exothermic process; exothermic processes release energy. Some of that energy is invariably in photon form, even if they aren't visible light photons. For example, a spot fire burning in the roots of a tree releases infrared photons which make it possible to detect these fires with an infrared camera.

I submit that a great ball of fire would in fact release tremendous amounts of photons, and thus be a perfect place for me to float around in. 8-)
