Yeah, I consider David Willis to be a legitimately funny person, and he rated the babes with Hooper, one of his funniest characters and... it just wasn't very funny. So while I might, arrogantly, think that I could use one of my funnier characters and talk about these submissions in a funny way, I fear I would come across just as lame as, in my opinion, some of the past babe rating stuff was. The panel, though, could have characters with various personalities talking about the babes, arguing, having scorecards and the like, and that way comedy lays, I believe. Assembling the team and actually getting everyone to interact is the part I worry about.

Last time I checked, comic strip characters had a remarkable ability unlike any other species to withstand meteorlogical extremes. Are yours carbon-based or silicon-based?

Hm... my characters are "non-photo-blue pencil" - based...

And this WinterSpace 2002 thing sounds fun...I'd like to contribute, but I'd actually have to try...nuts. Well, I'll go for it anyway! Count me in!

Definitely count me in! I really can't pass up the opportunity to draw women in winter.
Oh, and I have some interest in being on this panel, too.

Nice pic! You don't mind if I compress that bad boy from bmp to, say, a gif or jpg, though, do you?

Man do I ever suck at making graphics. No patience. Anyway, I spent a good 2 hours on one this morning, and came up with this. What do you think?

Image

That will probably go at the very top of the page, as the title and welcome banner, and also confirms that the site setup is going to very closely resemble that of the original site I really wish my photoshop skills were better, but I think I did a quasi decent job of copying the original. If you guys like this, the rest of the site should be a snap.

I really don't see how I could not make a submission for this... It's a perfect opportunity to put mittens and muff around my characters hands so I don't have to (try to) draw them

Wow that's really pretty cool! BOOM BOOM! AhaHAhaHAH!... umm...

Sorry...

I'd recommend upping the lightness on the background though. That way it'll look more like the bikeeni site and stop outdoing the foreground...

Other than, it's perfect ^.^
