Wait - so two separate contests? Too much trouble.vulpeslibertas wrote:Batman & Batman Enemy Art Contest
Villains vs villains and Bat vs Bat - Winner take ... something
How's this:
BATMAN VERSUS
Pictures must include Batman in some way and no less than one (1) and no more than two (2) villains.
Batman may be obscured or merely hinted at (a shadow, the edge of the cape), but must be present.
Villains may be similarly obscured or referenced, but must be clearly identifiable.
Submit in this thread until we reach, say, 10 entries (that's the limit on polls, right?) and then kick those into a new, vote-thread.
Okay?
*swoons over the Batman*
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

Easy, tiger. Given that we're talking about Batman, let's me put this in villain terms:kels wrote:Are you still here?bob281 wrote:Cool batman that guy and also good Idea for contest.Lets go with that.

Edward Nigma - made some mistakes as an honest man and was never given a second chance. Turned into the Riddler.
Harvey Dent - kept his two sides in check until pushed so far that he lashed out, choosing to put his tough face forward always, instead of just when it got away from him. Two face.
Oswald Cobbelpot - was teased so ferociously as a youth that his only internal defense was to embrace the wickedness and become cold, clinging to his hate. The Penguin.
On the contrary, Robin was full of hate and would have done some horrible things if someone had not taken him under his wing and given him direction.
Not once in this thread has 'bob281' said or done anything wrong. If he wants to stop "trolling" a certain comic and start participating socially in a comic forum, then HUZZAH! Progress! Developement! Don't pick at him just to get a response.

I'm in my country house these days, so no scanner.
I'd like to participate, though, so I'll try to do something in Illustrator.
bob281, I'm glad you decided to talk with us on different terms. Even if you do have as high opinion of your art as you do, drawing is still a constant process of learning and improving, and one can learn a lot of things from other artists.
