I have one that's six days a week (Sunday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays; and one that I just started that's going to be only Saturdays. There's also one that was MWF, but it had a limited run and I'm not working on it now.
There are a couple more things that I'd like to do, but college is demanding enough of my time that I know I couldn't keep them up with any frequency. (I would love to do the Saturday-only one as a T-TH or even MWF, but I don't think I could keep even that up.)

I sort of do. AntiBunny and the spinoff Nailbat. They both run on the same site (AntiBunny on Mondays and Nailbat on Thursdays) though I'm not sure if they count as two since they both occur in the same place, just at different times. Still it's two separate storylines running at the same time.
Since each only updates weekly it's not that hard to keep up. Though I am running out of buffer at an alarming rate on Nailbat because the next part of the story involves a complex and difficult to draw fight scene. That will pass in time. I've penciled the whole thing, I just need to ink and shade, which is taking me about four hours total per strip.
AntiBunny by comparison is much easier to draw since it's currently more centered on character interaction rather than just action.

yes... we both have that hope.Pimpette wrote:Only in two currently.
I've been writing&drawing Pimp&Assc. for over three years now, on and off. Just recently started drawing Shenanigan - the shift in art style is throwing me off a bit, but I think I'm getting the hang of it and hope to get more regular updates on both comics soon.

Right now, I'm only working on "World of Fizz", which I try to keep updated 5 times a week. I've been considering starting up another comic, but I want to first get a buffer going on the current comic. Although, I could probably get by doing one a 1 to 2 a week schedule if I wanted to.
The most I've worked on at the same time, though, is two.

I have, twice, tried to get a second project going. In both cases, I was only the writer, and in both cases my artist crapped out on me.
Bah, I say. Bah!
In all seriousness, though, just make sure that you have enough time for both comics if you do this. I have seen, many times, situations where both comics end up suffering because the writer starts delaying one for the other and then delays the other for the one.

Yo.
Since the first of the year, in addition to MINDMISTRESS on Comicgenesis, I'm doing FLICKERFLAME (that's an L and I, not a U) at Webcomicsnation. It's about a character who I'm going to build to be the ULTIMATE anti-hero---to be the Benedict Arnold of his world's Avengers, the Judas of his world's Justice League. Flickerlfmae can be found at http://www.webcomicsnation.com/alschroe ... series.php---
it's going to be more of a team book, sort of, and more sardonic and sarcastic than MM is.
--Al
PS. I'm trying to do it twice weekly, on Wednesday and Saturdays, to contrast with MM's M-W-F schedule. If one or the other has to go to the wayside, it'll be Flickerflame.
Oh, and I'm also trying to reconcile shape-changing with the law of conservation of energy with FF, and getting some---interesting results. For instance, 160 -pound Flickerflame splits into TWO eighty-pound wolves---or twenty eight-pound falcons...or...

I do Sock'd... Sock'd... and if I still have any ideas left, Sock'd.
They all update on a Tuesday/Saturday schedule... so Monday and Friday nights are hectic.
But seriously... I've kinda wanted to start up a new comic, but they've never gotten past the drawing stages. The closest one to actually being made was about a caveman.

I'm working on three at the moment but then I'm working with a different artist on each!
Shades is an epic 16-chapter online graphic novel. The script is fully written and the artwork is being put together by Harsho Mohan Chattoraj. Updates once a week, on a Wednesday.
The Spires is a 4-part fantasy tale. Not currently updating. Part 1 is online. The script for Part 2 is written and the artwork is currently being prepared by Fabrizio Pacitti and Bill Key. Will recommence updating weekly on a Tuesday as soon as we have a bit more of a buffer under our belts.
Hunted is a 4-part vampire story. We'll begin serialising this very soon. The scripts for Parts 1 - 3 are complete, I'm in the middle of writing Part 4 and Kyri Kyprianou is about half-way through the artwork for Part 1.

My comic is such that I kind of have different sets of characters that are more or less non-related (except that they're in the same zoo) doing their thing indepedently. As such I don't really need multiple comics to satisfy my various whims.
Angsty is relationship humor, Shandy/Baker is slice of life and sometimes mild adventure stuff, Chomps is dark humor/detective and cop show parody and so on and so forth. If I wanted to do a different kind of humor I just have to create a new character.
