Any advice?
A comic focused on one object is more likely to end, but you can just end one story, make some drastic changes and continue with new ideas. Example: http://www.roadwaffles.com

Thing is, you really need the right energy in your work for that. 8's roadwaffles stuff is supposedly unplanned, drawing each day's as it comes. Though he's set himself an ending point for RW3 of 300 comic exactly

I just re-read the topic, sniggered, and was going to come in here to make an off-colour joke... but too late! Props, sir. :)

Actually, I stopped making my comic in April. No updates at all. I guess it was due to low pride for my new, struggling comic. But I felt like crap not finishing it. Eventually, by mid-June, I got inspiration again and worked on it alot more.

I guess in terms of your question, if I decided to end Circle Arcadia officially, I'll do so, but only when I know I can't do it any better than I can as of now.

Jamie and Nick is finishing up, but only because the story is done. Though there will be the revamped story.
Eaither way, I'm done with my comic when it's finished, no compromises.

I'll know when it's time. I'll just know.

I don't think I'll ever really drop Pimpette & Assc.
I was shocked to realize it had been going on this long, but now the characters have really become a part of me - I draw them everywhere, think up bits of their past/present/future on the bus... on and on. I suppose one day I may exhaust every possible idea, but until that point I think I'll just keep on truckin'.
Though when I get tired of drawing Pimpette, I switch over to one of my little side projects for a while (these will see the light of day sometime... I hope..) until I can turn back and look at Pimpette anew.

I've stopped updating my webcomic in the middle of a storyline, and I don't think I'll ever finish it. Reasons? Several.

1. Busy real life.

2. The comic was based on my roomies and me (yeah yeah clich

I feel like stopping all the time because of how long each pages takes to layout, draw and ink. But I have an outline and a final destination mapped out, so I intend to reach it. Judging from my current ability to update, It'll be years before I get there.

I find I really don't have the energy to force myself to draw / update my comics as of late (even though I still do). HNTRAC is really suffering because of this, I don't think it's updated in like 3 months.

I also did phbites.comicgenesis.com and hntrac.comicgenesis.com way back when.

I'll end The Volet only when the original story will be finished... but since I only know the beginning and ending, there is still a lot of filling to put in the middle!
Strangely a friend asked if the comic was ending soon because of the 194's page. Fwe he he, he was surprised when I told him it was far from being over.
The Volet

What, free publicity never harmed anyone..right?
