Might be able to do a Thing entry. I've done the swimwear entry but the formalwear is a little trickier.
We'll see.
We'll see.

Deadlines are for chumps and low-lifes anyway.
Everyone, put your pictures up when you fucking want, then once everyone who seems to care has contributed, we will continue forth to the most least mattering voting pavilion.

Re: ComicGenesis Pageant, 2013 Post Apocalypse celebration!
Well I threw this together. Someone has to be first.
My entry from Robot The Pirate is the Frefly:

Earlier today Robot posed the pageant questions to the Frefly. Obviously it cannot speak so Robot had to translate them into binary and convey them through strobe based Morse code. The Frefly replied in a similar manner. Robot then provided first aid to his seizuring crew members.
"If you could have lunch with anyone in the world- living, dead or fictional- who would it be?"
Robot: The Frefly doesn't eat but gains its power from an invention called Micro-chlora-solar power. It would like to have lunch with it's inventor as if anyone is likely to bring a form of food it can eat it would be her.
“What is your spirit animal?”
Robot: A duck
“If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?”
Robot: It says it'd like to be taller

I guess that's a relief, since the deadline's already almost here. I'd like to get mine done soon, though, anyways, so that I don't have to worry about it.VeryCuddlyCornpone wrote:Everyone, put your pictures up when you fucking want, then once everyone who seems to care has contributed, we will continue forth to the most least mattering voting pavilion.

If I wasn't so focused on getting this next ep of Critters out, I'd totally get in on this.
Maybe get something done afterwards, if still going on...

you confused me until i realized the username of the spammer. I thought you were using "Depeche Mode" to mean some kind of new drawing technique to encourage peterabnny to draw something.Yeahduff wrote:Fuck that, drawn comics only, Depeche Mode.

If I wake up tomorrow and there's a new drawing technique known as Depeche Mode I'm rethinking my entire life.

Depeche mode is the new ligne claire.
Sounds like a Franco-Belgian style.

I've probably been watching too much Marvel (both cartoon and film) but I can totally picture Peter (or at least his rabbit self) saying "There's not enough time! We'll have to pull out all the stops. Goooooo Depeche Mode!" Then there's lots of flashy lights, he turns into a robot with extra arms and various drawing utility belt attachments and moves faster than the speed of animation. It's awesome.

Okay, DepecheMode, where's the swimwear pic?
Seriously though, I'd like to enter Dy-Gar into this contest, but my artists are overworked enough as it is, and I couldn't add this onto their plate. I'll gladly vote, though!

Actually that is a common mistake that I have just learned of.robotthepirate wrote:I've probably been watching too much Marvel (both cartoon and film) but I can totally picture Peter (or at least his rabbit self) saying "There's not enough time!
