Eh, it's not really that big of a deal, but in case it means something significant to any of the other participants I'd like to apologize.

I'll make sure to mention that last year. My bugbear with bringing in votes from outside sources is that it rewards the comics that already have an active fanbase, whereas in the context of just having the forum vote, smaller-fanbase comics still have a chance. Also because even if one linked to this thread, chances are the fan is just going to vote for the comic that sent them here anyway, not compare all of the options first. (Not that that's a bad thing, but I like these contests as being a way for "the little guy" to have a fighting chance )

Lesson learned, I'll remember this for next year. Don't worry about it, SP, you deserve every vote you got anyway

This is always a concern I have whenever I see "Best Webcomic" voting events. I've always liked the Ms/Mr/Thing ComicGenesis event because of it's different angle.
