I am offended that you would lump Dracula in with Halloween, and Halloween only! Vampires are people too! Just because it's past the 31st doesn't mean vampires can't roam avatars. GRR GRRR GRR STOMP THRASH SOAPBOX

Feh. ridiculous. Everyone knows Vampires DON'T HAVE RIGHTS. That's why law-abidding people can simply go to their gothic mansions up in the carpatians and put a stake through their heart, chop off their heads, and burn the whole thing in separate bonfires (one for the body, one for the head), and noone raises a fuzz. Plus, dressing up as a vampire is demeaning to the vampires as they're often represented goofy-looking, which only serves to reinforce my point. Don't believe me? Go ask your local represantives about vampires' rights, and he'll set you straight.
Unless, of course, you live in Transylvania.
Anyway, back to Keenspot (and away from Spoder Mon):
Why? what's the point? I present a story to the masses, those that like it keep reading and those that don't go off into the sunset. Fame, money, those things ,have never motivated me; I work for money because otherwise I'd starve; I do a comic because I like to draw, to spin a tale, and these things bring me pleasure and distract me from the grudgery and insanity of real life. And it just so happens that story-telling requires an audience, and what bigger and more accesible audience than the one not looking for porn (you know who you are) in the Internet?
Quite frankly, people like Jrermy W and, worse still, Pockybot, who are always aggresively pursuing fame and attention with the sole goal of getting "renown" strike me as people who are not getting fun out of their comic, and thus are taking the hard way towards their goal. If they just kicked back and had fun with their work, (I don't know about Jeremy, but Pockybot's art is awesome) they will be famous before they know it without half the stress they seem to be generating themselves.
If it's your ultimate, goal, fine. But if it's the ONLY reason you do your comic....
