I want to start a comic with a friend...have questions...
Me and a buddy are getting ready to start publishing a webcomic, and we're going to be in need of hosting. So, the first thing that comes to mind when I think webcomics is keenspot and keenspace.
What I need to know, though, is if we get a keenspace site, would be both be able to access it and update it, or would only one of us be able to maintain it?
Thanks for your time!

Remember, we're Comicgen now. Not keenspace.
And yes, I gave my friend my FTP password so he can upload rants.

On Comic Gen (Almost said Keenspace myself. -_-), you can design your website any way you want and you can put whatever name you want wherever you want. Only the URL is a set thing, as well as the banner ad at the top. Other than that you can design it any way you want.Garlisk wrote:And your friends rants are under his own name, not yours?Kirb wrote:Remember, we're Comicgen now. Not keenspace.

Comic Genesis isn't like other webhosts in that you put in the info and it does all the coding. This is very do-it-yourself. You design the website. You set the update schedule. You decide every word and picture that goes into it, and where it goes.
It needs a little HTML savvy, but there are some pretty kickin' tutorials hanging around, so that's not much of a problem.

Yes, as mentioned above, both of yous can maintain. And I hope that your joint endevour goes off better than mine. I'm supposed to be doing a webcomic with my friend. And 80+ strips later, she hasn't done a single one.Garlisk wrote:What I need to know, though, is if we get a keenspace site, would be both be able to access it and update it, or would only one of us be able to maintain it?
