Good to hear everyone is okay, and I hope that everyone stays that way.

The BBC is saying 3 dead, and that's from hospital reports.. I'm more inclined to believe that figure, but I'm an optimist.

The bbc is only quoting confirmed figures, so the number is probably higher than that.

Got no doubt, but it's probably best to wait til it's all been confirmed til numbers are pulled out...

Yeah, last I heard it was two dead, a couple hundred injured. That was a few hours ago, though.

Good luck, Londoners. Stay the hell away from public transit.

This makes me so sad :(. I had better call my cousin if I can reach her, she lives close to that area where it happened.

I still don't know what to make of all this. I for one did not see it coming. I guess time will tell.

Be safe, London people.
What a rubbish signature.

I'm very glad for the people who are still safe and sorry that this happened.
I hope you hear from your families soon and that they're safe as well.

I wasn't sure whether or not to post to say that I'm okay because I don't actually live in London... but I'm aware that my location thingy just says England which obviously includes London... so in the end I thought I'd just mention that I'm fine...

...Also my dad was at a conference in London today, which I didn't know until my mum phoned me to say he was okay, aparently he had a pretty near miss, but he's fine as well, just a bit shaken up.
Warning: this poster is addicted to ellipses...

I have a web comic called Tears of Eternity if you don't look you'll never know if you would have liked it.

I'm ok, got in just before the trouble started.

Been holed up in our office overlooking Trafalgar Square all day.

Given the all clear to leave about 3pm.

Scary walk back to Waterloo station.

Latest figures are 40+ dead and hundreds injured

Phalanx wrote:Tell me about it. It's places that I pass everyday all around my uni that are showing up in the news all cordoned off. And I still keep hearing sirens every 5 minutes because my place is near the University Collge Hospital.

The upshot is that most of the people I know seem to be very lucky and missed the explosions.

Our mobile phone network has been given over to emergency services though, so it's hard to make any calls to check on people. Thank god for Skype.
*Hugs Ping a whole lot*

Hope you have enough friends and family to get through a really freaky day. And very, very glad you're ok. And yeah, you'll be in my prayers. Kinda comes with the terratory of knowing me. :)

I certainly didn't see it coming either. However... I have to admit that it didn't surprise me all that greatly. Atrocity is the world's way of life.
