I've actually known a professional clown. Nice guy. Maybe a little more boisterous than I usually like, but he's a decent fellow. As with most professions, species, and forumites, you have to get to know 'em before you judge. And that's why I KNOW lawyers are despicably dry people.

Yay for clowns!!

You know, my mascot, Buster is a clown not by accident. Them damned clowns creep me the heck out in person, but artistically, I have a deep morbid fascination for them ever since I'd learned one of the stranger origin stories of the clown makeup. I'm even working on an art series based clowns, called "Tragic Times in Clown Town"!

I saw IT at a young age, but it didn't make me fear clowns. I don't find 'em funny either tho. I guess clowns just aren't my thing.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.

Sure, but it's the makeup and costume that freak me out, not the person.

Let's not forget the clown from Spawn. And then there's that clown from the Twisted Metal games. And the Insane Clown Posse. If you Google for clown images, you get all kinds of freaky pics. Clowns are definitely scary.

I never saw IT at a young age, and I still didn't like clowns. Then again, I was shy around just about everybody.
