Unless you sent a BOMB through email!!! Don't hurt our Gracie, Knightsaber! Think of the cast of Because of Math Class!
Yes, please people, no bombs. I am not prepared to die for this event. And what would become of my little noseless, mouthless creations? They would perish, I tell you. PERISH!
Ok, RPin and krytos55, i saved your submissions, they will be up in the next update (as will be everyone who e-mailed theirs in and got a reply from me). Which brings up a point I have been meaning to mention: If you send me something, I will reply to let you know I got it. If i don't reply within a few days, then send it again because I didn't receive it.
And the previews are lookin' good folks. Can't wait to see the finished versions.
Hey, great response from everyone! Send more, more, MORE!
I might even get away with not submitting anything.
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.

Hahahahaha....no.
Maxim Kovalenko, yours will be up in the next update (along with all those who e-mailed them). The site will be updated tonight when I get home from work.
JexKerome wrote:I'll just add that it can be about any summer-related activities, and not necesarily about the beach and bikinis.
I know that won't stop most of you from drawing bikinis anyway, but this is just so people who like Ryan are for some reason afraid of their drawing potential don't feel like they can't contribute.
Jeez. Harsh man.
Fine. Just because you called me out, I'll find my damn pencils and draw you a submission. But I'm telling you, if it starts raining frogs or blood starts dripping from my walls, I'm blaming you.
Crossfire: "Thank you! That explains it very nicely, and in a language that someone other than a physicist can understand..."
Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.
"Data" is not the plural of "anecdote"

Ooo! And I thought this week was going to be boring!
This is a preview. However, I may just submit that in itself, because I don't really have time to color it. Dang it!
*stare* You know how to do it, but you don't know what it is?!
Foreshortening...let's see if I can explain...when you view a character from a certain angle...let's take your picture for example. It really looks like you're seeing it from that angle.
Say you had a character holding their hand out in front of them, with their arm fully extended, and if you were viewing it from the front, it would look like it was partially covering the face. Your ability to make it look like that, without elbows sticking out, or the arm angled downward, that's foreshortening.
That made no sense...I can't explain it. I guess if you can do it that well, it really doesn't matter if you know what it is. ^^

Foreshorten? ...What's that mean?
That's when you allude to something that you plan on shortening later on.
Like a hem on your skirt? Or your hair?
Exactly. A good example of forshortening would be if you were talking about how your cousin just got a hair cut and that it looked great and you wished your hair looked like that. Then, say a week later, you get a hair cut from that same that place your cousin did.

Soap: nevermind, I will keep drawing and maybe someday I will be able to do it without looking at 10 different references. Btw, the Feyanne's right calf has been foreshortened very well, as well as her right forearm.
